In November of 2012, Team Alberta (a partnership between the University of Calgary and Mount Royal University) approached RKV about producing a submission video for their entry into the U.S. Department of Energy's Solar Decathlon.
In order to keep costs down, all green screen filming, narration, and animation was done in our studio and in record time. The entire project was completed in less than a month to meet the team's submission deadline. New lighting techniques, vegetation libraries and snow creation were used.
